How long will my jump take? TANDEMS: If you come out by your self to make a Tandem, plan on at least two hours from your scheduled time. This is taking into consideration, weather, dubbing of video (if you purchase one), how many Tandems are before you, etc. If you bring out a large group of 5 or more, plan on spending the bigger part of the day at Skydive Rick's. Bring a lunch with pop or water so that you can enjoy the day at our beautiful Drop Zone. STATIC LINE: Static Line students are a little different than the Tandem student. They are going through an entire class to learn the sport of skydiving from start to finish. Prepare to be at the DZ for around 5-7 hours after you arrive. Usually (depending on the class size) students will finish training and begin jumping around 2:00pm - 3:00pm, if not sooner. The Static Line class usually takes a 1/2 hour break, half-way through the course so the students will be able to have lunch with their new skydiving friends. |
